Kickoff for Voter Engagement Campaign

Win/Win Network is embarking on a large-scale program to change the framework of civic engagement.

Our new program, Engage2020, adopts a ten-year frame with elections serving not as ends but as benchmarks for measuring long-term success. The first component of the project, integrated voter engagement, begins with voter registration as the foundation of the engagement pyramid and ends with the pinnacle of leadership development.

We kicked off the voter registration portion on February 26th with a training co-hosted with our national partners, APIAVote. Former Minnesota State Senator and first Hmong American elected to a state legislature, Mee Moua, joined us as keynote speaker and trainer. WA CAN! and Washington Student Association also lent their experience training 70 participants on basic skills, writing a rap, campus based opportunities and more.
